Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 as a temporary attraction for 1889 Paris Exposition. But Later due to it's extra ordinary design , it become the permanent symbol of the city. Once tallest structure in the world, the Eiffel Tower is probably Europe's best and well-known landmark and most famous and beautiful symbol of Paris.Its height is 300 meters. The man behind this gigantic structure war Frecnch engineer Gustave Eiffel, known for his revolutionary bridge buildings teachniqes . The structure took 26 months to complete . Gustave Eiffel was a scientist. He installed meterological equipment at the top of the tower in order to investigate weather conditionsand he also the tower to conduct experiments in aerodynamics, construction a wind tunnel at the base being used in radio transmission and having the country's first radio and T.V stations. It has three platforms. On firstone there is post office and cinema , the second one is a resturant and the third platform is the visitor's open gallery, where they can have a good veiw of beautiful city of Paris and it's surrounding's. The four huge legs of the tower has double-decker lifts and stairs to reach the top.
