Aslam was the only son of his parents.He had four sisters.He was the eldest.He studies at a school.He was good at studies.Unluckily he fell prey to the society of some bad boys.They were not only loafers but they were also addicted to gambling.Aslam started gambling with them soon he lost thousands of rupees.His mother knew his drawback but she concealed it from his father and sisters.Eventually his father got the information from some relative.He was very much shocked and disturbed.He called his son Aslam and said to him,``My son! you know I run business and earn livelihood for the whole family.My earning is based on honesty.You have chosen a wrong and going astray.If you stick to this trend soon you would not only ruin your self but also make life hell for others.Still you have sufficint time to mend your ways.If you so, you would not only safe your self from destruction.It is never too late to mend.So now it is upto you, how to behave``
On hearing the advice of his father Aslam bent his head in shame.He promised his father that he would not repeat the follies of past and instead mend his ways.His father was pleased with his promise.He embraced him and said,``It is never too late to mend.
